HeadingNorth
Yes; the way it's meant to be (i.e. male to female and vice versa). You're assuming the conclusion, which is a false argument. How do you know it's "the way it's meant to be," given that huge numbers of people feel the exact same attraction towards their own sex, that you feel towards the opposite sex? GreenyGreen
So it's not a physical attraction between you and your partner? It's both. The psychological attraction is first, biologically second. You're assuming the conclusion, which is a false argument. How do you know it's "the way it's meant to be," given that huge numbers of people feel the exact same attraction towards their own sex, that you feel towards the opposite sex? The majority will always be heterosexual. Nature (or God) has created male and female for a reason. Homosexuality is a psychological condition and it will remain so. The same Nature (or God) that has created homosexuality for a reason, I presume.

GreenyGreen
The same Nature (or God) that has created homosexuality for a reason, I presume. Nope. God (or Nature) cannot be held responsible for a condition that isn't the norm. A condition that can be changed. So are you trying to say that a gay man isn't physically attracted to men? He might be but it doesn't change the fact that homosexuality will always be against what the majority are.
HeadingNorth
Nope. God (or Nature) cannot be held responsible for a condition that isn't the norm. Why not? Isn't God omnipotent? If He did not want people to be born as homosexuals, they would not be.

Are you going to blame God (or Nature) for people being murderers, child abusers etc.. ?
HeadingNorth
Are you going to blame God (or Nature) for people being murderers, child abusers etc.. ? I'm not blaming him for anything. I'm trying to find the reasoning behind your position. Do you believe God to be omnipotent?

HeadingNorth
Of course. Then you must, necessarily, accept that people are born as homosexual because God made them so. If a being is omnipotent, he is by definition responsible for everything that happens.
