Harleyman
Will be stopping off at Victoria BC on our retrun trip from Alaska in five weeks. Loved the place on my first visit 6 years ago. There's a hotel there that serves English teas at four o'clock. The waiters all dress in white jackets serving cakes and tea to ladies wearing hats and gents in jackets and ties. I however was in the mood for a more stimulating beverage and there are some nice little English style pubs around. We were standing on a street corner in Vancouver trying to figure out on a street map how to get to the harbour area and along come two people, strangers to each other who asked us if they could help. In what other big city would that ever happen? The drive from Vancouver along Canada Highway One to Banff, Alberta should be a must for anyone in that part of Canada. Lots of wild life, fantastic scenery and there's nothing to beat the Rockies for absolute splendour
