Sheftival Festival - 4th/5th August 2012

Recommended Posts

Got tickets...not very clear....but,are you allowed to take your own ale/and or food?

And,can you smoke on the Don Valley Bowl Area?

Cheers.

Maybe one to ask the organisers but if it is like Tramlines then you probably won't be allowed in with your own food and drinks as there are bars and caterers on site.

Hi guys and girls.

With only a week to go and Tramlines last weekend, we are pretty busy right now. Apologies for not answering your questions faster! Hope you're all as excited about this event as we are. We're putting in every effort to make this a fantastic event.

Re food and drink - we will be doing bag searches on entrance to the main arenas. Acrross the site we will be requesting no glass bottles, which we know from our Tramlines experience they cause major havoc and injuries.

You can bring your own food, as long as it is in reasonable quantities - we will have plenty of food traders on site, and as this is a not for profit event, So any money you spend with us - will either make sure we do another one, and help fund future festivals and sporting events in the city.

You can smoke in the outdoor areas, no problems there.

Re ticketing. You can order tickets online from here or here on Skiddle. To beat the booking fee, you can buy in person at The Harley or any SIV venue including Ponds Forge , The Arena and The City Hall. Tickets will be on sale throughout the event.

The full programme with all stage times has been published in the Star today, it will also be available for free across the festival site.

There are some faqs on the website www.sheftival.co.uk. Also, if you have an account, please follow us on Twitter, you can ask direct questions and normally get an answer pretty quickly.
