Sheftival Festival - 4th/5th August 2012

Recommended Posts

If you haven't done so already, get your tickets for SHEFTIVAL, a massive 2-day fest being held at Don Valley Bowl on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of August.

Full price Adult 1-day tickets are £12 each, which is incredibly cheap when you consider there are 7 music stages featuring bands such as TOOTS & THE MAYTALS, MACKA B, THE SELECTER, THE BEAT, Sheffield's very own JUNGLE LION and RENEGADE BRASS BAND, and so much more that it's quicker to direct you to the lineup page than try to type it all in this post - http://www.sheftival.co.uk/line-up.html

As well as all the music there's all kinds of sports activities too, the whole weekend looks like it's going to be fantastic - check the website for details and tickets :)

Really gutted as this was the only reason I paid for a ticket... do you think I will get a refund?

Is this badly organised? Can the organisers get another top headline act?

Feel a bit cheated to be honest!

You're not entitled to a refund if a substitute appears in place of a show's headline star, or a headlining artist changes from the ones advertised on a music festival line-up. Festivals have a right to substitute acts – given that there are often tens, if not hundreds, of them for festival organisers to juggle, it's no surprise that some don't make it to the stage. So if you were looking forward to Nick Cave playing a festival and Nick Berry turns up instead, there's little you can do legally to recover your cash.

As long as he did "The Mercy seat" that would be acceptable:hihi:

If only there was a way you could search the internet to find out about this?

Of course, that kind of technology is just wishful thinking - it'll never happen in our lifetime.

Ha ha:hihi:! I was just suggesting that Sheftival doesnt seem to have been that well publicised
