Balpin
~11pm. Solstice doesn't take note of BST. Oh and it's approximately 1 SECOND of official daylight (Source: Paul Hudson, BBC Weather) I do thought, take notice of BST that is. Take no notice of Hudson, he is a rank amateur. Didn't he say this was going to be the hottest year since 1873? (correction, that was me)

Then I expect we'll get the thunderstorm of the century. Don't think we'll be at Hammonasett Beach this weekend. We'll leave it for the PRs:)

Balpin
Not helping the 99 degrees weather we've got this week in Ct is it ? 99 degrees? I trust you are are not speaking in any form of modern scale. I assume you mean 37.5 degrees. That is not the kind of place humans should live, it is not possible to work and thrive in such oppressive temperatures.

Today is the first day of Summer, we are going to have at least 4 months of fabulous weather, meals in the garden, sitting outside the pub, days at the seaside. Let Summer commence, even though it has rained nearly all day.
