MrSmith
No I think you are wrong. What people want to pay and what people are able to pay are two completely different things. You are confusing these two factors. I pay what I think is a fare price and If I think the price is to high despite being able to afford it, I don't pay it. mj.scuba
I wonder if some of the people on here would feel the same about immigration if they were white nurses coming from Australia and the USA. Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't. Why don't you find some and ask them? You'll note Australia has tougher immigration rules than the UK. Also why only whites? Seems a little strange. Badlittlepup
It has everything to do with colour, but people don't like to admit it, hence you argument about being labelled a racist. Nope. I think you'll find for an awful lot of people it has nothing at all to do with colour and many people who are concerned about immigration are fed up with being labelled racist. boyfriday
So Ed Miliband is racist then? Ooo Ed Miliband? You mean that towering icon of Socialist politics? Or the limp wristed, prig of a boy with sloping shoulders who gets blown off his feet in the wind of tabloid opinion?
stevie1957
So Ed Miliband is racist then? The far (loony) left will try and demonise him for having the nerve to debate people’s concerns about mass immigration.

Badlittlepup
Ooo Ed Miliband? You mean that towering icon of Socialist politics? Or the limp wristed, prig of a boy with sloping shoulders who gets blown off his feet in the wind of tabloid opinion? As I have said before, the speech he made yesterday basically said that although he doesn't think people who are concerned about immigration are racist and he understands their concerns he is going to scrap policies which impose caps on it. Basically he was announcing more immigration.

See above, I imagine they will be quite pleased with this speech, it promises what they want.
Jim Graham
It has everything to do with colour, but people don't like to admit it, hence you argument about being labelled a racist. No it doesn't. It has everything to do with culture. This country is predominantly a conservative, white, Protestant Christian, Anglo-Saxon country. Countries like the USA, Australia, Canada and even some European countries like Germany are similar to ours. We share a common heritage, values and culture. The people Labour allowed to flood into this country do not share our cultural values. They are predominantly illiberal, Islamic, unskilled people who cannot and will not integrate easily. Yet again Labour undermined the work ethic of the country by letting in people who contribute little but receive everything available. And nobody knows why especially Labour supporters.
