Driving licance

Categories D and D1 relate to minibuses. For a medium sized vehicle between 3.5 and 7mt you would need C1 or C1+E on your licence.

Yep, C1. If you passed a car driving test before a certain year you would get a C1 on your license that entitles you to drive HGV up to 7.5 ton (not a bus though)
