hillsbro Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Contributors to the thread evidently have a general interest in Bridge Street and its history, and so here are scans from Kelly's directories for 1905, 1925, 1942, 1954 and 1968.. Note that the Don Confectionery Co. appears as early as 1905, and in fact the 1891 census return gives the occupants of No 65 Bridge Street as Joseph M. and Sarah Morton, Joseph being described as "time keeper at confectionery factory".
