Rampent
Tories are back tracking like mad to appease mug voters. Still the nasty party underneath the sheen.

testcase
I have always liked tories. Thatcher was an extremely lovely unassuming lady. It will be a shame when she dies.

woodmally
Some of Call me dave's proposals are far worse than even Thatcher considered, you have all be warned now, make sure you get out and vote at the next general election and do your bit to say enough is enough. Such as a cap on benefits so us hard working people dont get paid less than people sat on their backsides doing no work. Making squatting illegal to stop people breaking and entering places they shouldnt. Scrapping EMA (the money 16-18 students get that they dont need). Like all political threads on this forum, the choice can be summed up as follows. If you think the world owes you a living and you want to be given free money to sit on your backside all day vote Labour. If you want to be rewarded for working hard and making something of your life vote Tory.

ampersand
Scrapping EMA (the money 16-18 students get that they dont need). EMA was "scrapped" in January 2011 to new students - it is only paid residually to those who were already receiving it before then It was only paid to those students whose household income was less than £31,000 and, according to reports at the time it was scrapped, was claimed by fewer than half of all students aged 16-
