Advice needed regarding peugeot 307 automatic

Hi i have a 2006 peugeot 307 auto 55 reg the timing belt has snapped and car is stuck in economy mode wont start no electrics working at all does any one know how much to fix or will i just be best cutting my lossers and sell as a non runner thanks

Well if the timing belt has snapped then it won't start, and stop trying to make it start in case the valves are protruding in to the cylinder, otherwise you might bend them or damage the piston crown. VERY expensive.

 

You can get it towed to a garage, who will need to whip the rocker cover off and look at the valves to see if they are damaged. If they aren't then they need to realign everything to TDC and then fit a new belt. Fingers crossed that's all that is damaged.
