Sooperdooper
If this has happened to every joint it could be faulty paper, otherwise as mickw33 says he has rubbed to hard

carlas_cat
The same happened to me. I used a crayola chunky black felt tip pen and coloured in the faded bits, then rubbed it in so it smudged the edges. It worked a treat.

carlas_cat
I was worried when I was doing it, but I had to do something. It worked really well, when you stand away from the wall you can't tell at all. When you stand up close you can barely see where its been done. Good luck with it. nikki-red
Thanks hav to try that but im scared of making it worse Do you have an offcut of the wallpaper to experiment on? I dont think Id fancy putting felt tip onto it without testing it first. If not make sure you try it in a place where it wont be seen. Just because it works on one type of paper doesnt mean it will on another.
