What will we do when the Government run out of things to 'cut'?

Recommended Posts

According to Newsnight the cuts have barely started yet. They will go on, getting greater and greater, until well into 2017 and beyond.

Let's hope they are voted out before then.

According to Newsnight, gosh that must make it official then. Everyone can see the cuts haven't really begun yet and already services are being stretched with the lack of staff. BTW economists have said that the cuts won't change things financially and if anything will just make the economy worse than it is now. Social engineering at its worst.

Labour threw open Britain's borders to mass immigration to help socially engineer a "truly multicultural" country, a former Government adviser has revealed.

Back on topic, we had economic growth in May 2010. What happened? Still blaming Labour/the weather/the euro while the country goes to the dogs? It's over 2 years since Labour were last in power, we're nearly halfway through the Tory government, what exactly has been done to 'fix the problems'? It only seems to have got worse.

It was growth fuelled by quantitative easing a short term stimulus to fuel growth which was always going to make a bad situation worse over the long term.

Imagine that you don’t have enough money for your life style, one way to improve your life style is to earn more money, but if that’s not possible you could borrow some money.

For a short time you have more spending power and have a better life, but when the money runs out, your life is worse than it was before, because not only don’t you have enough income you now also have a debt to pay back, you could borrow more money and again for a short time your life is improved, but sooner or later your ability to borrow is at an end and the reality of your excessive life style hits home , for many years you will be poor whilst you pay down the debts.

If you really think a state organisation can run ANYTHING well, you're seriously deluded. The Post Office is a case in point - TNT beat them hands down for service speed and reliability.

Jobcentres? Don't make me laugh....

The police? I don't think so....when did they ever do anything other than zoom past with sirens blaring on their way to.. something more important than your problem....

Imagine the shambles if supermarkets were a state-run thing.. apart from all the staff either being on the sick , or on constant Diversity Awareness courses, there'd be notices all over:

"No potatoes till April, when we get our next year's budget - it's the cuts"....

Anyone wanting to buy unhealthy food can only do so with an exemption note from their GP enabling them to bypass the requirements of the Family Health and Obesity Reduction policy, set out in Statutory Instrument 1456/2012".

The Police actually put their lives in danger every day of the week in order to protect other people, including you.

Lots of people have predicted that Milliband will be PM before Xmas.

Although he would never admit it I doubt if Miliband would want to be PM just yet. Far better to sit on sidelines for time being and watch Tories dig themselves deeper and deeper in the mess they have caused.

That would tell me he's more concerned about his party than the country, so not an ideal leader of the country.
