What will we do when the Government run out of things to 'cut'?

Recommended Posts

Is the cover effective? Have lives been lost because of the reshuffle? Genuine questions..

It probably is, but what if it hadn't been.

Say we did lose a life, or lives, or people were more badly scorched or burned than they would normally have been?

Would that make them re-open a Fire Station to supply better (or closer) cover?

Genuine question.

My opinion is, no, they wouldn't. They'd come out with the same old 'it's a learning curve' and 'we'll learn lessons from it' garbage.

It will be a hospital next. I just hope we keep the Hallamshire because the NGH's too far away for me.

I couldn't give a flying for those who live nearer to the NGH.

Because without backing them up they are meaningless...

There are 12 things in a dozen.

There are 13 things in a Baker's dozen.

There are normally four legs on a horse.

We normally have 2 eyes, 2 ears and 2 lips.

There were around 30,000 people at Sheffield Wednesday's last home game.

Sorry, I can't, or won't prove any of the above, please take my word for it.

I'll take your word for the numbers above but not for the ones you gave before that I questioned....

I would have thought that a Fire Tender based at the old Ringinglow site could get to a fire in Ringinglow or Bents Green much quicker than a machine could get there from Rivelin, so I'd say no, it's impossible for the cover to be as effective.

I haven't read the thread, I've just read the last few posts as this thread is at the top of the page. Your last posts have included 'probably'; 'heard a rumour'; guess work; nonsense rant #239; your opinion stated as fact (several times); ask questions - and wait for the lies... (why ask then?). Is this just a rant, or are the whole 13 pages full of this?!

Juts out of interest - which cars would you suggest we buy? And which supermarkets should we shop in?

Oh dear. I think I'll leave you to it. :hihi:
