*Hipster* Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I'm not retired but I know a few peope who are and they do a combination of: Reading Watching films (on dvd / TV / cinema) Gardening Sport (mainly swimming / aerobics / golf / fishing) Walk the dog Look after grandchildren See friends for lunch / drinks Hobbies (ie. photography, learning a foreign language, antiques, painting) Walking (Peaks is perfect and on the doorstep!) Initially I worked in part time jobs, but for the last two years I've done no paid work. *Hipster* has a good list, and mine is similar: Reading Watching TV Gardening Looking after grandchildren Meeting friends for lunch/coffee Theatre Genealogy Walking, I joined an older persons group to get started!
