Murdoch reluctant to invest in the uk

I thought the hypothetical situation involved him leaving the uk forever and taking all his businesses with him. But no, if it was owned by a Russian billionaire gangster it'd probably be much the same.

Only more honest.

£90 a month ... I have sky HD with Sky Talk, Line rental and Unlimited Broadband for less than £40 a month!

From what I can tell by going through the Sky website as a new customer, you couldnt have been paying £90, there simply inst the amount of products available. Even adding all the one off Football channels, didnt get me to £90 a month!

Porn? :hihi:

As stated, i only miss Atlantic. I predominately watch BBC & CH4 and download documentaries. Each to their own hey? :)

I see your point, but it doesn't cost £90pm to watch Sky Atlantic. Would pay £32pm for Sky+ with HD to get Sky Atlantic.

I choose to leave Sky, even though my family were obviously none to happy about it, as i resent what the Murdoch family & businesses have done to our country. I couldnt give a toss about what i can/could get Sky for, i resent giving that man a dime of my money, therefore i cancelled it.

Some people have principals they stick to, others shrug their shoulders.

Personally it doesn't bother me. I pay for a service and I value it to the level I pay. If you think disagree with Murdock who owns less that 40% of Sky, why not switch to either Vigin or BT Vision?

He's not really abandoning the UK, that would mean selling his stake in BSkyB. More he's realised he won't be allowed to get his own way here any more and is going to focus his efforts where he can have more political influence.

Pretty much throwing his toys out of the pram really.
