Location114
Threads like these really amaze me to be able to answer the question we need some more information. Other than the engine is the car in good condition? Mileage? etc
barleycorn
RIP 406. If, and only if, everything else is in perfect working order it may be viable to throw a new engine in. Prob cost in region of £400. You av to weigh it up against cost of getting a new car of similar cost. Sometimes its better the devil u know than the one u don't. Get some quotes as a guide jb

Location114
The information provided is very basic and therefore is not elaborated enough for anyone to guess the potential value of the car .................................................... Starlet83
personally I would scrap. You could pay £400 for an engine and another few hundred for it fitting with no real certainty how long it will last for x
