What does it take for Israel to abide by the UN resolutions?

Recommended Posts

Don't you just hate these moaning muslim threads?

This has nothing to do with Muslims and everything to do with the rule of law ,well in Israel's case the ignoring of the international community ie the U N.

Maybe it's time for a one state solution for the Middle East :hihi:

Dont worry with all the settlements Israel are building its only a matter of time before we have the one state solution ie all of it being Israeli.

sound familiar? You'll find all this garbage about a tiny number of controlling manipulative Jewish people walking around with Stars of David embossed on their underpants whilst controlling the foreign policy of any number of countries you care to name all over the internet, but also in such places as Mein Kampf and the Chronicles of the Elders of Zion. The antisemitism is not as bad as that displayed by southcoast in this thread, but it's still there.

The embossed underpants and the allusions to Mein Kampf and the "Protocols" are an attempt at distraction.

AIPAC along with other Zionist lobby groups and think tanks plant their people as Staffers into Congress and The White House.

You know that and hope that your opponents don't.

You could have cited Mearsheimer and Walt (The Israel Lobby)

The Israel Lobby (London Review of Books)

David Ben-Gurion

If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country … We come from Israel, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?

Probably:

1) Cessation of all violence towards Israel or its settlements (no more rockets or attacks) for a sustained period

2) Hamas, Fatah et al to publicly recognise Israel's right to exist

But every time there is a ceasefire between israel and Palestine, it's consistently the israelis who break it. Remember israeli's murderous rampage in Palestine a few years back, perfectly timed to coincide with Obama winning the US election? israel broke that ceasefire.

3) Palestinians to stop educating their children to take up arms against Israel and stop promoting intolerance towards Jews in their school textbooks

And are not israeli children educated in hating Arabs from a young age too? Check out this message of 'love' from israel school kids to Lebanon:

http://sabbah.biz/mt/archives/2006/07/17/photo-of-the-day-israeli-kids-sends-gifts-of-love-to-arab-kids/

"Die with Love" was the general message.

4) A willingness by both sides to bring about a peaceful co-existance and guarantee each others security

Agreed. And israel's first step should be to rein in the ultra-zionists who demand a greater israel stretching from the Nile in Egypt to the Euphrates in Iraq.

Why is it anti-semitic to criticise human rights abuses committed by israel against Palestinians?

Why is it anti-semitic to criticise israel's flouting of dozens of UN resolutions?

Given that the Palestinians are Semites while most israelis are from Eastern Europe and Russia, it's clear that the most anti-Semitic nation in the Middle East ... is israel.

don't spout that old garbage again, 'most Israelis' are definitely not 'from' eastern Europe and Russia, or even descended from Jewish people that ever lived there, hardly surprising when 75% of them were murdered in WW2. The word antisemitism is an invented word, from the German antisemitisch and has nothing to with the word semite, which originally only referred to languages like Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic anyway, not people.

it's been shown in many DNA tests that Jewish Israelis and Arabs are genetically similar and can often pass for each other, you would know this if you had ever been to Israel.
