O.K - the lowest form of contact, couldn't get more trivial :D

I once met The Lonpigs in The Lescar years ago to discuss my getting the a T Shirt printing job for the band (didn't get it as I couldn't do six colour work at the time)

I 'met' Phil Oakey whilst stood on a heap of furniture on the back of my truck in his neighbours garden and his dog barked at me. 'It's O.K' he said, 'he's friendly' 'Don't worry' I said, 'just protecting his territory' :hihi:

Joanne from the League lives a few houses away from us and gave our kids sweets on trick or treat night

I was an extra in the Sheffield film 'Whatever Happened to Harold Smith and 'met' Lulu and Tom Courteney.

My Dad served Tony Hancock with his divorce papers in Batley Variety carpark but I don't suppose that really counts ;)

I did say it was contact of the lowest order didn't I :hihi:

Mustn't let it go to my head :D

Now one from the old cronies. I was once mates with Ace Kefford (from the move). A bunch of us used to go to his beautiful thatched cottage in Inkberrow in Worcestershire. He and his wife (Jenny) were brilliant hosts and were great company. I often wonder whatever happened to them, cos the last time I went through that village, the cottage was derelict. I gather he'd fallen out with Jeff Lyn and Roy Wood, as he had 7" vinyl "The Move" singles around the house which were made into ashtrays, and never discussed being in the band. Happy days!
