JackLakeland
I don't think its right to call the child a racist. She probably doesn't know what one is..
nikki-red
I don't think its right to call the child a racist. She probably doesn't know what one is.. Exactly, all she'll be doing is copying what she's seen somewhere.

mj.scuba
Have a similar problem with my son. He sees people in wheelchairs and says "vroom, vroom". He must be disable-ist.

hard2miss
I don't think its right to call the child a racist. She probably doesn't know what one is..Hurray, common sense. My daughter used to think all cats were dogs at about that age, it took a bit of time to get her to understand that they were not and I did not feel the need to physically beat the knowledge into her either. Kids are kids, they see the world different, its called growing up, I can't believe that people think that this has anything to do with racism. What do you do when your child points at a car and says 'pap pap' ? A quick scutch for their ignorance just in case they embarrass you ? I think this topic says far more about you lot that want to make a racial issue out of something so innocent.
