Murphy Jnr
The good thing is if it does happen, the one's that believe it wont get the chance to say 'told you so.'
alchresearch
I've just watched the trailer, finding a bit of paper in a 50 year time capsule with predictions of bad things happening doesn't sound plausible to me. But looks like a cracking movie and it's repeated on film 4 tomorrow night at 9pm if anyone else wants to watch it. It was more the solar activity I was referring to. I didn't really care for the rest of the film, although the disaster effects were pretty good, and not over the top.
ANGELFIRE1
"End of the world 2012?" Piffle and utter twaddle. Angel.
Jeffrey Shaw
I saw it in the cinema, I really liked it up to the end which I thought it was contrived and didn't make much sense. The cineMaya?
Murphy Jnr
Well this household is prepared for it. We've disconnected the bath in readiness to crawl under and we have a good supply of Mars bars and a selection of sci-fi and Mills and Boone books arranged in alphabetical order. al_partridge
I bet you it doesn't happen, you can pay me in 2013 if you like. The guy was probably one of the same nutters who were convinced that the world would end on 1st January 2000.
truman
If he thinks the safest place would be Scotland then why is he living in Cornwall? Surely part of his "prepping" would be to move to the place he felt would be least affected?
Karis
Absolutely ludicrous! Another person taking steps to prevent a catastrophe they know nothing about! The only certainty regarding the end of the world is that these threads are going to increase over the next few months...
AJ sheffield
Just read this article: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/4207988/The-British-family-frantically-prepping-for-the-end-of-the-world.html What are your views? I love that story, maybe the social services will be laughing at the words ".22 sniper rifle" whilst they are keeping an eye on Rambo's bairns.
