Ah, that's the $64,000 question! Obviously concerts come to mind. I don't know if it's feasible at Hillsbro but extending the perimeter a little and maybe go cart racing. Sunderland have staged several concerts at the stadium.Cold Play, Springstein, Take That, to name a few .The club makes money from the promoters for the rental but have never to my knowledge passed on any discounts to the football fans .
