Fake Fag sparks terror alert.

Recommended Posts

This is an example of what such a successful tactic terrorism is.

Nothing was going off, apart from a junkie needing a fix, but the entire road was closed for many hours.

There is no answer to it, as long as we are scared of them, they will play these games time and again.

But those people were left on the bus for half-an-hour before anything was done that would benefit them, exposed to the supposed peril with no regard for their safety during that time. How can that be justified? They should have been taken off that bus immediately, surely? That's assuming that the response was reasonable in the first place, which it would seem not to have been. Autistic interpretation of policy is no substitute for common sense!

Who's to know who was a terrorist, they look like them man on the street. Who's to say letting them off the real suspect could run off. And if the threat was real then letting everyone off would have without a doubt caused more casualties.

The police held them there for a reason and that was safety for the people around. The police need time to to contain the threat, bomb disposal , armed offices, chemical hazmat specialists. If this guy had a bomb or a chemical device then him and it are contained on a bus and not running on the M6 gassing or blowing up more people.

Also don't forget the terrorist works in cells , who's to say 2,5 or all the people on that bus were not armed in some way shape or form.

Oh, you're quite right. Far better for everyone on the bus to die so that the terrorist doesn't get away. After all, he might kill someone!

In fact, considering what you have said, the Police ought to have evacuated the entire county, because this man might have been carrying a suitcase nuke! Like you say, one simply can't tell!

I have just been watching a documentary about the 2005 bombings in London.

The pigs who did that were 'ordinary lads who played cricket'. No.

What they were was sneaking cowards, who do not deserve the name of man.

They are just trying to drive a wedge between the people of this country.

You just don't get it

Terrorist are not nice people, they don't like fluffy Picasso people carriers or saving the planet by deviding card board from plastic.

They want to kill YOU , ME AND YOUR KIDS because you do not fit in with what they want.

You HAVE to do whatever needs to be done to stop them.

Yeah life's hard but the reality is there are people you meet everyday in town or at work or even in the school yard planning to kill anyone and everyone that don't fit the religion.

I can't see the fuss.

The type of terrorist we have today use this said method of pouring liquid onto things to cause explosions.

Over reaction , no

Heavy handed , no

You have to treat every situation like its real, you can't play act on this. Remember too 6 Muslim terrorists were arrested today in London, this bus was on the way to London and I'm guessing a link may have been made.

I'd rather have a false alarm like this than a 7/7 any day.

How do you know they are Muslim terrorists? Remember the Clitheroe/Lancashire terrorists, all released without charge. Most 'terrorists' arrested in the UK are never charged with any offence.

Take a look, google is your friend.

Police didn't identify the suspects, who range in age from 18 to 30. However, Mizanur Rahman, who is involved with a Muslim activist group, said all those arrested were British Muslims.

The upside of this would seem to be that no one will ever dare to light-up a real cigarette on public transport ever again! :hihi:

The world was much better when people were allowed to smoke.

Most people were more relaxed and affable. And we could all afford pensions too.
