Do you find some buildings intimidating and scary?

Recommended Posts

Some buildings and tall structures definitely freak me out, but I find pylons and canals quite disconcerting, don't know why, imagine my horror when I discovered this in Stalybridge. It was a walk I couldn't make

Is that on a canal? It rather ****s up the navigation for narrow boat owners.

Pylons - particularly those 140ft buggers - Are really scary! The power lines between them tend to sag and if the trees are high, there isn't a lot of room to get through. - Particularly if you're in a hurry.

My gf is reluctant to stop with me at my brothers in London because he lives on this block of flats which she finds intimidating and scary looking

That's trelick tower. Ugly it might be but to many its a icon of a building. Its just on the border of Kensington and Chelsea and despite it being ex local authority it has some of the most expensive flats in London.

Never judge a book by its cover.
