"Rape not the rapists' fault - It's the world's fault"

Recommended Posts

Can you give us all the wisdom of your knowledge..just what are the numbers of these unreported crimes?

What a stupid question, if a crime is unreported know one can know how many there are, but there is evidence that a man is less likely to report a sex crime than a women.

You are blaming porn for rape, I'm simply stating the men raped women well before porn was available, if anything with the advent of porn rapes have dropped.

Says who? (and yes, I did read your link) I could equally use your arguments that rape has risen since the advent of porn, being that it wasn't reported.

Do you understand the need for statistics as a balance to numbers that are not quantifiable?

So what is your point, that there are as many sex crimes against men as there are women? That's ludicrous.

Porn is a continuum of the objectification of women which is prevalent in many forms. It reinforces views and will influence and shape those of young and impressionable people. It is certainly one of the main factors in the increase in uptake of certain surgical and cosmetic procedures women are undergoing. To claim that it has no negative effect(s) is fatuous in the extreme.

Rape is rape whether it’s reported or not and statistics are something that are relatively new and only apply to reported rapes.

There is no evidence that with the advent of porn rape become more prevalent, but there is evidence that the reported cases of rape declined when porn become more available on the internet.

My point is that neither of us knows, yet you presume to know.

So know you are claiming that women have cosmetic surgery because they watch porn.

And the evidence is why he is less likely?

So, you're inferring from that rape is on the decrease thanks to porn? I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

The evidence would suggest that it has decreased with the advent of internet porn, which kind of makes sense. There is less need for a sexually frustrated person to commit rape.
