skinz
One of the biggest problems of today’s society is that children aren’t held accountable for their actions, and I don’t see how watching porn would give a 14 year old the idea that sex with a five year old is in any way acceptable. No one has implied it is acceptable..not even the judge..unless I missed something.
skinz
Do all young boys that view porn turn into rapists? No, but I see my question hasn't been answered.
mj.scuba
No, but I see my question hasn't been answered. That's because it's not relevant.
L00b
No, but I see my question hasn't been answered. There's no point answering it, unless you already have evidence of causality. So, where is it and can we have a link, please?
llamatron
You're making assumptions. It is relevant. Do you allow your children to watch porn? If not why? people watching porn does not make them rapists therefore its irrelevant.

I agree wholeheartedly.
mj.scuba
What is troubling in this case is the judge seems to have come to an unproven conclusion that consumption of pornography is a causal factor for rape, absolving the boy of his responsibility. llamatron
I was having an argument with someone the other day who would not let their children watch the simpsons because of cases like this-cuckoo!
MrSmith
No one has implied it is acceptable..not even the judge..unless I missed something. The 14 year old must have thought it was acceptable, and the judge gives the impression that the boy didn’t realise it was unacceptable, hence the reason he blames everyone apart from the boy. The judge seems to think the boy was also a causality. http://www.metro.co.uk/news/904109-boy-who-raped-girl-of-5-spared-jail-as-judge-says-its-societys-fault Isn't this what the thread is about..the judge and his decision?
