wednesday1
Newspaper sales are falling year-on-year, the last being no exception The qualities are the hardest hit with The Guardian losing 18%, The Times 11% and The Independent a whopping 44%. At the bottom end the Mail lost 5% and The Sun, 8%. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/table/2012/jul/13/abcs-national-newspapers Do you still buy a daily newspaper? Forumosaurus
If newspapers can be made available for free, like the Metro, I don't see why these newspapers seem to be in suck crisis. Stick more adverts in if they're losing money.
LeMaquis
I read 'em in the library and that's it. If I commuted to Leeds or Manchester by train I'd probably buy one to kill the journey but I don't see the point otherwise in paying for a paper and the internet. Harleyman
The Sun wont disappear anytime soon unless Murdoch tells the editor to discontinue the bum and tit feature
dosxuk
The qualities are the hardest hit with The Guardian losing 18%, The Times 11% and The Independent a whopping 44%. The Independant did launch i though 18 months ago, targeted at a subset of their readership, which clocked up an impressive 61% growth in the same period. Overall across the two papers, they've gained 12,752 readers in the last 12 months.
shanes teeth
I buy a Mirror everyday just to do the Quizword! I don't think you can do that on the internet. I rarely look at anything else in it,maybe the TV listings and sometimes sport if you can find any other than football(even in the closed season)
RyoHazuki
I generally buy The i every day. In spite of the class-chasm editorial. It often annoys me, but it's much less annoying than the Metro or Mail.
Leah-Lacie
OH buys a Daily Star if the parrot cage needs cleaning out and lining. Apparently the parrot likes to look at page
