walkerx Posted July 18, 2012 Share Posted July 18, 2012 Does anyone know if it would be expensive and possible to get an independent report that can prove whether or not a manufacturer fault was the cause of a door handle be broken on a car the garage i've taken in to, state it is not covered under any form of warranty as they class it as damaged, but i would expect a car handle to last and not just come-off when someone opens the door. There is no external damage and from what i've seen on line there have been reports to other Chrysler cars having similar issues and it's something to do with how the handle is connected to the door.
