The hardest part was finding funding & coming to an agreement with the University but another stumbling block was sheffield council being the only council to charge (£60pa) for use of the parks. The 2nd run last sat had 120runners which is still a great number. With the increased advertising of hillsborough parkrun and when the weather improves I expect those numbers to rocket. When I lived on Brocco bank I used to potter down but since moving to Kelham Island I've been missing it, would love to start going again if Hillsborough is up and running.
