shane39
In the newsagents today and noticed £10 scratch cards..£4 million top prize. I got chatting to the chap behind the counter and he said a guy came in and bought one, then came in another 7 times buying the same £10 ones.He won nowt. Ok,i know you can easily go in the bookies and blow a tenner, but where will it all stop? £50 cards? Anyone bought a £10 one,and won anything? Lynchee
That's daylight robbery. You might as well take your tenner to a casino and put it on red or black, at least you've got a 50/50 chance!

Unforunately no. The presence of the zero (and, on some wheels, a double zero) means the casino get their winning edge, and, you'll have slightly less than a 50/50 chance. Basically, for organised gambling, whether it's a casino running tables, or a state running lotteries, the odds will always be hedged toward the house, and, the punter will never have an even chance of winning. You have not a 50/50 chance as there are some neutral numbers which give the casino scope to rip off the mugs who gamble there.
