lovabulrogue
Dear All. I am visting Yasmine Hammermet in Nov 2012. I am told that you cannot buy Tunisian dinars in the UK, you have to buy them there. Can anyone advise if this is true and are there ATM's that accept debit cards etc. Or is it best to get travellers cheques and exchange them at the hotel/bank. Any other tips owould be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

Nataliie
Also, if you do exchange money at your hotel, make sure you check what they give you because they will try and con you! Especially with how confusing their currency is. And yes, we were told not to leave the hotel at night, and to be careful with locals trying to invite you to their home to eat etc. Have fun

The OP has not posted since maybe he/she has cancelled and going to Skeggy instead.
