Rupert_Baehr
Companies are always looking for other ways of boosting profits. But if you didn't have an e-mail address, people couldn't make money from selling your e-mail address to spammers and all those gentlemen in Nigeria would have no way of getting all that money out of the country. iansheff
I'm pay as you go... You are obviously on a contract..How much do they charge you? 5000 text is ridiculous! I send about 30 tex a month. Well Orange do a payg for £7 a month with texts included, O2 do a £10 a month payg with 100 minutes and unlimited texts. Three are doing a deal for £10 a month with free smartphone. dosxuk
I'm led to believe you already need a TV licence if you use the internet but don't have a TV! Who ever led you to believe that was lying or misunderstanding the situation themselves. You need a TV license for a computer if: a) it's fitted with a TV reciever card / dongle and connected up b) you use the PC to watch UK broadcast live TV streams, such as iPlayer / 4OD (not the replay service, just the live feeds). Magilla
Billions..Trillions...Zillions sent every year. Will there ever be a charge for this service? No charge at the point of use doesn't mean there isn't a cost associated with it.
