I can't see it being anything in the house as at least two of them have been at the same time the neighbours have also had nuisance trips, plus this only started a week or so ago and we've not had any new electrical stuff put in Is anyone else having problems in the S13 area ? Leah-Lacie Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 Not in your area, but I had an electrical fault with a wire that was in the wall behind my fridge, powering the kitchen electrics. The wire was right next to a nail in the wall, and over time, when the wire was hot, the nail had got hot too, and slowly, slowly the hot nail had melted the plastic cable, and embedded itself into it, causing a spark (which I couldn't see, as it was in the wall) and tripping the electrics off.
