Bored during the Olympic national team intro's?

I know many nations are gaining independence as time goes by, but seriously, wasn't anyone else bored stiff as the 500,000 Olympic teams were paraded into the stadium?

 

Some nations were the size of a bedsit and surely only had 5 people in their entire population, let alone a team, so it took bloody yonks?

 

And for those wondering who the heck the "Independent Olympic Athletes" team is;-

I used it as a chance to brush up on my geography along with my grandson....looking where each nation is from especially the tiny ones.

I switched off at Cuba I think. Up til then I enjoyed it but after that it became tedius so missed the lighting of the flame and flying bicycles (shame) and macca (blessed relief)

She was on camera looking down, picking dirt from under her fingernails during team gb's entrance. Haha. Poor old lass.

 

It was all down hill after the Brazilian women's volleyball team anyhow.
