six45ive
Yes I know it's undergoing refurbishment by Urban Splash in partnership with millions of £'s of public money but for a development that's supposed to be so 'iconic' (I think the word they're looking for is ironic) don't you think that, as the show flat opens to coincide with Urban Design week, a building of such imposing nature needs to put on the most spectacular show it can to stimulate the public's imagination? I have in mind something like this but on a much larger scale.

six45ive
Have they done away with the free heating provided by the incinerator? Not sure they ever had free heating. I seem to recall the flats are connected to Sheffield Heat and Power although I could be wrong.

Stoatwobbler
It could do with demolishing and some good affordable low rise housing being built on that land. But sadly some idiots got it listed a few years ago we are stuck with it. :-(
