If you're wanting 'quiet' - how about a midweek night (just to chuck the cat amongst the pidgeons - it would be significantly quieter then)

Like I say - I'm flexible - it's just an idea.

Might potentially be a couple more forumers coming with me, but will need confirmations first obv...

Is my dribbling and farting at the table ok then?

:partyhat:

Dribbling and farting's a bit of a no no mate... Could get us kicked out and probably barred from ever going again :gag:

I could be persuaded to come though, it's just that Fridays aren't a good night for me, as I need all the Karate practice I can get in preparation for the grading at the end of March.

Unfortunately my attendance for this is slightly up in the air now, it depends whether my Dad gets back in time to give me a lift on that Friday night, as I've decided it won't hurt to miss Karate in favour of Italian grub just this once.

Unless anyone that's going is local S6 and can pop up to Stannington to giz a lift?

Oh Isis, how are you my lovely? I hope you're well.

Seeing TomTom on Sunday so will find out if he's coming too.

Thank you so much for your supportive reference re: my eating vs my farting.

Just for the record everyone, I won't be farting OR dribbling, and I'm fully toilet trained too! :heyhey:

N.B Watch out for Isis, she steals breadsticks when no-one's looking

Do we know each other? Well it would seem some do, some don't.....but......hey, what a nice way to get to meet new people

:)

Isis and I know each other, and TomTom too if he comes along, but other than that, I don't know anyone.

Come along if you want, we'll make you welcome, well, unless you smell of wee or something and have bits of dried gravy and mashed potato ingrained into your tank top, in which case you can sit in the corner with the plants.

I'm new here and I just wondered whether people already knew each other or if genuinely any one can go along!

There are a number of the group who will already know each other- for the rest of the attendees it's a bit of communication to identify who'll be where and when, followed by a bit of introducing yourself to likely looking people who are obviously waiting for other people.

For the Sunday Dev Cat meets we have reserved tables, so people know where to be cos the pub's quite large, and for this meet it should be quite easy as the venue's only small.

If you really can't face walking in by yourself, use the PM system to buddy up with another attendee and meet outside then walk n together.

Failing any of that- just head for the tallest woman in the room and introduce yourself- cos that's me.

I can make the 27th, day after payday. Plus it's fallen good as I'll have been on earlys at work and finish at 2pm.

Count me in if you want, I can pop on the 20 or 20A bus from where I live straight outside the door of Martini's near as damnit.

Consider I like Italian food and the chance to make new friends, will be good for me as I'd like meet new people and socialise. PM me to confirm any arrangements.

Mark
