Bar and Grill closed down

Recommended Posts

Oh that would be great for the area, wouldn't it?!

Whatever the Bar and Grill was, it was located in a great space - in terms of both the interior, and in Leopold Square.

I expect all the defenders of the Bar and Grill, who cited localism alongside their crackpot continuum of 'expense=quality', to be putting in their objections to the corporate takeover of the building. Yeah right.

Should have gone along with the oroginal concept i.e. Hooters

London Club had started to go downhill at least a year ago but the Bar and Grill maintained a decent standard until the end (for steak anyway).

Are there any recommendations for good steak in the city centre?

No.

But if you are willing to travel to Broomhill then you can get a good steak at La Vaca. (and a decent pint in the York pub beforehand too).

Bar and Grill's are usually top notch. Only went in the Sheffield on one occassion. It was just completely unprofessional. A lot of the bars and restaurants in Leopold Square seem to be a complete shambles. Really poor customer service and complete laxity of staff and management.

The Bar & Grill was an independent one off and nothing to do with th Restaurant Bar & Grill operated by Individual Restaurants which also owns Piccolinos
