speleo1
Hi all Anyone know if it is possible to replace the near side inner ball joint of the steering rack on an 1994 214 The Haynes manual doesn't give a procedure for this and looking at the exploded view in the book it looks to me as if the only way to do this is to replace the entire steering rack assembly. I don't really want to replace the entire steering rack if I can help it as I guess a new one is probably quite an expensive item. thanks
RootsBooster
You mean this ? Yes you can, but you'll need a good pair of large grips (large water pump pliers) or the proper track-rod tool
