Green Laning / Off roading / 4x4 driving

Are there any local clubs or groups who organise trips/days out or maybe even 4x4 driving tuition?

 

My vehicle is standard, road legal and un-modified....I use it to get to work.

It's in good nick and I'd like to keep it that way !

 

I'm not into the extreme stuff....I just want to do a bit of gentle green laning/ off roading to have a bit of fun trying out my truck's capabilities and appreciate the countryside around Sheffield and the Peak District.

 

I'm hoping that this thread doesn't get hijacked into a slanging match about the rights and wrongs of 4x4 ownership.
