Rupert_Baehr
Four teenagers have been shot in the same incident in a single Merseyside street. Detectives are investigating the motive for the shootings, which happened in Akenside Street, Bootle, at 23:30 BST. From another report: Shot youths may be gang war victims
dvp82
I don't think you can compare the Sikh temple or the recent Colorado shootings with what will most likely turn out to be a targeted gang related shooting in Liverpool and one in London. If you going to go down that road, here's what's been kicking off in the greater LA area http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/08/downey-shooting-toddler.html http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/los_angeles&id=8760183 http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/news/ci_21222782/la-puente-man-fatally-shot-outside-liquor-store?refresh=no
Rupert_Baehr
What comparison would that be? Where was the shooting in London? The Liverpool shooting was on the BBC news website and the London article suggested an explanation. - It's not a separate shooting

The more the better. The ones that dont get shot end up in state and federal prisons with nothing to do but eat, defecate, pump iron and cover their bodies with tattoos. That sadly is the very tragic part of it all. It has happened that in some shootings the father of the child shot was a gang member himself. You'd think that these people would have a bit more common sense than that of a baboon but obviously they dont. There's not much to be done about it anyway. If they didn's have guns they'd be using knives, crowbars, lead pipe and lengthss of chain on each other

With the thread title been almost the same as the one for the shooting in the U.S I'm thinking your maybe trying a poor attempt at comparing the shootings. Today's in the U.S and the one in Liverpool.

NorthernStar
This is really bad, it seems that these were just a bunch of teenagers enjoying their Saturday evening, the information is pretty sketchy. "Police said they were "open-minded" about whether it was a targeted attack". "Four teenagers injured in a shooting may be the victims of gang warfare" "All four are in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening." It's not really enough information to decide whether or not they deserved to be shot; I suspect not, but I wouldn't make any snap judgements but at least they all survived and proper due process can now get into the nitty gritty of what actually did occur.
