martin8111
Does anybody know of any effective ways to keep neighbours cats off my garden? Not bothered with the fact they come round to visit, just fed up with them leaving their mess! Please help!

In Uppers
Use those rubber snakes, from poundland or somewhere like that - my mum put these down and they don't go on her garden at all now! Very strange I know but it's effective lol
alternageek
Rose thorns. Put those in flower beds, etc, where they like to mess. You just have to plant them slightly below the ground so its not obvious but not hidden. They dont like the feel of them and will eventually go away. You could also use the garden hose on them and squirt them to scare them off.
spats
Mmmmmm....wonder if those rubber snake things would work on the mother-in-law?
Total Chaos
You could try one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/STV-Big-Cheese-STV414-Repeller/dp/B003TLA4FS/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1344506794&sr=8-8 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Contech-ScareCrow-Motion-Activated-Deterrent/dp/B005MW9VOM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1344506794&sr=8-3 If not try moth balls, around where they are leaving the mess. spats
Seriously though...unless you have a dog, cats will always come in your garden to poo. One thing that might make a difference is to have a chat with your neighbours....choose a part of your garden/gardens that you dont use much & then dig that spot up. Keep it as freshly turned over soil & empty now & then. (You can take turns!) Cats tend to prefer freshly turned earth & it'll help keep them off your best garden bits.. horribleblob
... try moth balls, around where they are leaving the mess. That was recommended to me but the cat just messed on top of the mothballs The rubber snake idea sounds good. I wonder if a short length of rubber hose will work.
