One thing that might make a difference is to have a chat with your neighbours....choose a part of your garden/gardens that you dont use much & then dig that spot up. Keep it as freshly turned over soil & empty now & then. (You can take turns!) Cats tend to prefer freshly turned earth & it'll help keep them off your best garden bits.. I've got a dog but cats still mess on my patio. It drives me up the wall, I can't even buy any of the things that keep cats away as they are also effective on dogs. charlie_boy Posted August 9, 2012 Share Posted August 9, 2012 The only thing which ive found to work is something from B&Q. Its about £5.50. Its in a white bottle with big round yellow lid. The contents looks like tiny grey gravel. You sprinkle it onto the areas you dont want them to poop every 2 weeks and it keepa them off. I know it works because if i forget to re-do it on about the 3rd week the cats start doing it again. Its on the aisle where all the ant killer is and stuff like that. Hope thTs helped.
