Drone
Not too mention a uniform worn by men who slaughtered millions, Jews and Gentiles alike in the space of 5 years. Even British, American and Canadian troops taken prsioner werent spared though their countries were signatories to the Geneva Convention. I'm certain there must be people living in the UK whose grandfathers were shot by the SS after being taken prisoner. I've seen one or two individuals dressed up in Nazi uniforms at gun shows I've attended. They didnt look old enough to be around during WW2 and probably too stupid and neanderthal to know anything about the Nazi period or even point out the location of Germany on a world map. In short only a knuckle dragging moron would want to wear that kind of gear Germans I thought treat the British pow pretty well, it's the Russians pow they mistreat and vice versa.. Is this true harley??

He was a traitor in their eyes yes..he spared his family from being murdered.. What I have seen and read about him, he was humane, he saved alot of his soldiers when he defied hitlers orders to carry on in africa
Drone
No credit to America? There would have never been any D-Day without the Americans so dont talk so bleddy daft. This kind of misniformed and arrogant line of thinking only annoys me. It shows an abysmal knowledge of WW2 history and a decline in the quality of teaching history at schools very obviously At best Britain was barely holding it's own against Hitler by December 1941, losing everywhere and losing thousands of tonnage of ships to U-Boats in the Atlantic By the way can I clear something up here, I didn't mean the soldiers but if america had acted earlier, then it wouldn't have gone on so long

Chris_Sleeps
I saw a Nazi uniform for sale in a vintage (40s, essentially) clothes shop in Pickering. Some people like Nazi imagery without ever being involved in the ideology of it.

Harleyman
By the way can I clear something up here, I didn't mean the soldiers but if america had acted earlier, then it wouldn't have gone on so long A little more education for you. 1. The American army in 1939 was a peactime army with only 140,000 full time serving personnel and what tanks it was equipped with were mostly obsolete. In manpower it was smaller than even some third world armies 2. The American public were completely against getting involved in another Eoropean war as they remembered World War One as being a sensless slaughter which achieved nothing. Which is true In a nutshell there's your answer
