Lazy Brits according to Tories

Recommended Posts

Well the title says it all so we all better stop whinging and work harder because according to five Tory MPs: “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world." “We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor.”

This coming from MPs on their long summer recess. Good old Tories, first they blamed businesses and now blaming the worker for the current state of the country.

You have to hand it to these tories ; they are a bunch of hypocritical , lying, thieving , privileged, toffee nosed, cheating no good scumballs. Apart from that they are ok though.:)

Something tells me you are not too keen on the tories

It's time to try an alternative party. Pity there are no good offerings right across the board.

Would be nice if we could just vote for people who are actually in any way qualified to do the job of running a country?

That would be an excellent way of stopping the tories from getting elected as none of them are qualified to run the country....unless running it down counts.:)

Thing is, virtually no politician is qualified. They're good at promoting themselves and getting ahead in politics, not at running countries.

Hardly any of them have relevant experience or qualifications. If they were being interviewed for the job by an employer they wouldn't get it. This is where democracy fails, unfortunately.

Right now I'd vote for pretty much any party that promised to improve the tax system, close loopholes, and enforce pay convergence (as is the case in Scandinavian countries). It's actually quite unbelievable that Labour aren't using anti-corruption as their primary election platform. The only party that is promising major tax reform is UKIP and I disagree with most of their other policies.
