fleetwood Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I probably saw Mr.B Billy Eckstine only once and that was at the City Hall, I wasn't aware if he ever appeared at any of the nightclubs that sprang up in Sheffield in later years, it seems to me he shared the bill with a British band and can't remember if he brought his own musicians or not, if nothing else I imagine he would have brought his own piano player.
