I hope you have enjoyed your stay - a few traditional type british foods well worth trying if you havent done so

Fried breakfast - most cafes will do this. Not very healthy but a great start to the day

Fish and Chips - there are threads on here about the best chips shops - make sure you get a "proper" fish n chip shop and not a kebab/fried chicken place

Sunday Roast dinner - a good pub will usually do a decent sunday roast dinner - traditionally with a pint of beer

Curry - it may not seem very traditional - but British curries are very different to what you would get else where in the world - and again going for a curry is a very traditional friday or saturday night activity!

and see if you can get a bottle of Henderson's relish sauce - a traditional sheffield sauce

Is there any recommended place that I could go for fried breakfast and also the curry?

and what actually is Henderson's relish sauce?

For the breakfast try the greasy spoon 24hr on the stocksbridge bye-pass .How to describe Hendersons ,Based on vinegar Hendersons relish is a superior version of worcester sauce with a little bit of Sheffield magic added. Some would say its the food of the gods.

It's a relish called henderson's that you put on a curried fried breakfast. Very popular in the far east, places like Hull, Grimsby and Mablethorpe. Or is that with Mabel Thorpe?

Given the poster doesnt speak english as first language and is looking for advice for their trip in Sheffield - maybe better leaving the "humour" for another thread?

which area of sheffield are you based? any small cafe outside the town centre will usually do a fried breakfast (also known as a fry up)

As for a curry - in the town centre - Aagrah on Leopold square is probably your best bet. Most curry places tend to be bangladeshi or pakastani run - but the food served is a british version of what north indian food would be like - and is arguably the most popular sort of restaurant in the UK

Here's the website for Henderson's - you can buy it in the Co-op supermarket opposite the Peace Gardens
