Good place for a good dance for over forties!!

can anyone recommend a good place for dancing this weekend (sat) for...ahem...those who might be (slightly) over forty??!! love the red house but it doesn't have a website and seems to be hit and miss - can be great or as dead as a door nail. anyone know what's on this saturday at the red house or can suggest anywhere else? thanks!

It depends what sort of music you like. The Bessemer plays oldies from 60s to 80s soul motown disco etc. Only small dance floor but people tend to dance where they stand. Also there is Maggie Mays on trippet lane playing similar music for an "older" crowd. Also play good music in bars in Leopold Square more 80s/90s funk disco.

A run over to Worksop or Mansfield should be ideal,as Depeche Mode and The Pet Shop Boys dominate the charts,and aussi are de riguer maintenant.
