ChrisT70
just had a few days there and can highly recommend it if you want a fishing break. cabins are very clean and well equipped. the 4 lakes are all different, offering everything from big catches of carp/barbel, to ide, tench, bream, ghosties etc. you do have to move around the venue a little as there are a few matches on weekly, but you can fish while late on after a match if you want to take advantage of the fish coming closer in late on. someone had a 12lb barbel out of one lake while we were watching, and the tuesday match on skylark lake was won with 120+lb of mixed fish. bait wise just fishery own pellets but you can catch on meat/corn/paste etc. the lakes and fishery are immaculately kept, and you can tell they look after the fish etc. all in all a great venue if a bit further afield than the usual venues for us.
