Bypassblade Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 If you leave by choice you can put a claim in for JSA, & it will be paid, but then you'll have to give your reasons for leaving to a Decision Maker, who will write to you. Mister M Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Just to point out that a mate of mine was dismissed from his job & it was nearly 8 weeks for the DSS to sort his money out. In the meantime he was relying on the goodwill of friends to help out thankfully for him we did what we could for him. Yes his cheque from the social was backdated, but nearly 8 weeks!. Ridiculous.
