A lot of what we think of as derogatory terms originated as clinical definitions - moron, imbecile, idiot. Is it OK to call someone an idiot if they're behaving in a less than intellegent way? Would love to know where the term "window licker" comes from though, I find it quite funny, not sure why it would be offensive, as no-one seems to know who it referrs to specifically.
