coolbeans
Hello friends, families and loved ones. We bring news.... Soyo has undoubtedly been one of Sheffield's dominant live music forces in recent times, consistently providing a healthy source for bands, artists and music lovers. It comes as no surprise that we were delighted when Lord Matthew of Cottrillington asked us to put together a show for one of their Monday evenings. The result is five bands, a bunch of DJs, some live artists and Andy Enchilada carrying a trout. SMILING IVY We might as well start calling us collectively Cool Ivy or Smiling Beans the amount that we collaborate, we simply just can't get enough of those cheeky lads. After appearing on our very first podcast they gave us a sneaky listen of their brand new EP and we can safely say that it is fine and fiery stuff indeed! You'll be able to catch them showcase the new material at this, their debut Soyo show. http://www.smilingivy.co.uk/ K.O.G. & THE ALLSTAR REVOLUTION Another frequent guest on the Cool Beans Show, K.O.G. and his band of merry musicians weave through reggae, afrobeat and even a bit of a country riddim with seamless effort. They also have new recordings on the horizon, if you haven't heard 'em check 'em out for sure! http://www.facebook.com/groups/359131570789024/ MOTHER FOLKERS Folk superstars round these parts, the Folkers have spent the summer playing beer festivals, harvest ceremonies and countryside hoedowns and are roaring to get back and perform in Sheftown. 3 folking girls, 3 folking boys, let's all get ready for a folking good time.
